@kitchen_diaries_by_zubda: Smash Burgers! 750g ground beef or lamb, l used lamb, 80/20 lean 2 onion 4 brioche buns 3 tbsp oil salt to taste black pepper to taste 8 slices cheese 1 cup Iceburg lettuce shredded 1 tomato gherkins burger sauce Burger Sauce Ingredients 1 cup mayo 2 tbsp mustard sauce 2 tbsp sweet relish 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp onion powder 1 tsp smoked paprika 1 tbsp sugar 2 tbsp hot sauce 1 tosp pickle juice Step 1 Divide ground lamb into 8 equal balls about the same size. Using a large cast iron griddle. Space mince balls on hot cooking surface. Step 2 Slice onions and place on mince balls. Using a large burger press smash each ball to quarter inch thick patties. Step 3 Season patties with salt and pepper. Sear 2-3 minutes. Add 1 tsp of burger sauce and flip. Step 4 Place cheese slices on each patty. Sear another minute and place a plain side of patty top of another cheese patty. Step 5 Slice the buns and toast. Health Score Step 6 Build burgers, place bottom part of toasted bun and slather on special sauce. Step 7 Followed by shredded lettuce, double cheese mince patties, tomato slice and and top bun.
