@paebae2004: Reposting for anyone new or just starting their journey — This was after 4 weeks of staying in a calorie deficit (which means eating fewer calories than you burn) and walking 10k steps a day. And no, I don’t hit all 10k at once — I break it up throughout the day. I’m about 2 months in now, and I’ve already learned so much about what works for me. I used to struggle with binge eating for years, and I finally found something sustainable that feels good. I focus on balance, not restriction. I eat foods I actually enjoy, move in ways that feel good, and I’m not obsessed with perfection. One thing I always say: don’t base your calorie deficit off of someone else’s. Everyone’s body is different. If you’re not sure where to start, I recommend Googling a TDEE calculator to get a rough estimate of how much your body burns in a day.
