our rescue cat Hugo came with the direction that he was aggressive with other cats. He needed to be the only cat in the house. Six months later, he brought a young feral (not any more) cat home with him. Kitty is his best buddy. they eat, sleep, and hang out all day. So much for that advice! We figure he was just aggressive in the shelter environment.

I have a problem, my mother has a cat that has been with me for a short period. The cat shows affection towards me, is always happy and does not show the others the same affection, I am worried that the cat will feel bad if it is not with me, as it feels like it has chosen me, but my cats would not accept this cat. As soon I am on the phone with mum the cat is searching for me. I try to see the cat from time to time.

My cat is a wild child (currently asleep on my side of the bed) she will defend her home from all cats but will watch and play (to her rules) with the dogs. The dogs have her back when it comes to invading cats

Help me! Ever since my cat was neutered he is so fearful of the vet. He use to love it and he now freaks out. He also doesn’t seem to like other people or animals. Any advice?

When people say all cats are solitary creatures I just look at them like this 🫤 and think about how my babies (they’re litter mates) act in the car. My girl will freak out after a while need her brother to cuddle her to help soothe her car anxiety. He also freaks out if he hasn’t checked in on her in a while (I let him free roam with a harness and leash strapped into the buckle) they’re bonded pairs and absolutely need each other.

My cat is definitely solitary. She sees another cat even if its outside, she will go full attack mode. We have to keep her separate from my mother in laws cats by keeping her in my husband and I's room because she has already tried full blown attacking her cats. She gets even asound of another cat on the other side of a door and will get aggressive and even attack me....
