Dude, my employer reported ALL tips to the IRS. No tax on tips (cash, credit card, Venmo, PayPal…) is huge. HUGE. Almost huge enough to go back into the service industry 😳😂

He’s also wrong about claiming cash tips. In most restaurants you get turned in for the expected tip on the sale. So you pay taxes on people who don’t tip you.
