The Protection Fighting Style is superpowered now. It defends ALL attacks against that ally until your next turn. My party had a way of having all attacks be disad, except the bard. She stayed near my fighter for Protection.

the only way to counter that, is it give every monster 1.8 times the hp the player has, and 3 more actions per turn than the total number of actions for the entire party. welcome to a 3 hour battle for even fighting one rat. otherwise might as well do like video games and add the autowin, making the entire point of minmax moot.

I would min/max but purposely Clark Kent it until we are near a tpk. It would be a fun, relaxed way to RP without wiping you and your friends back to lvl 1 because of some bad rolls. And the mysterious background rp opportunity would be juicy.
