hey, I have 12 years of experience in tech and I can make some good recommendations if you tell me what you plan on using your laptop for. I usually recommend Windows, and I know a lot about the different specs and which one would be the best one for you depending on your budget.

no absolutely not, if you’re going for STEM do not get a macbook software applications will not run properly or you just can’t get them. i reccomend a lenevo yogi it turns into a tablet i use it to take notes. or you can get a surface laptop that turns into an ipad for notes to. but do not get an apple product for schools bc everything is done on windows esp for research.

don't get a mac. can't use lots of programs that some courses will require and if you have to download lots of documents it'll get so slow. mine barely lasted me through college tbh

Well I got an apple and it does everything I need it to do! I’m a business major tho so idk, and everyone else has one too😭 in my 2 yrs in college I’ve only seen like 2-3 ppl without a mac
