Make sure you know what you have won before taking it to cashier. I had three lottery tickets handed them to the clerk she scanned one of them revealed the winner then she scanned the same ticket two more times so it would say not a winner. Took my winnings and the tickets with me. Went to another store with them.

All stores has a checker to scanned before turn it in, and also there is app you can downloaded and check your ticket. Very simple 😁

Yes I was just telling the lottery in Tucson Arizona. they need a different program because there's scams going on people that work at gas stations. hold tickets for their family members put tape over the machine so you can't use it all kinds of crap

Call 911 ask them to pull the cameras that is this legally. They cannot take that ticket without your signature on the back of it and cash it out.

I’ve had this happen to me before they had screens showing the prize. I had won $300 and he gave me $30 because I was buzzing. I was so mad but I made the mistake of just walking out. I was scared to call the cops because I was driving.
