The answer is the good old IT Support, ya’ll run to those fancy IT roles that you forgot good old basic IT support roles. Not everyone is a startup founder but almost everyone has a computer and printer at home and customer support centers for computer manufacturers are painfully looking for IT support specialists to help the aging users on basic computer issues like “my printer just froze” or “I forgot my login”. Infact IT support roles are so much in demand I am seeing the layed off software devs downgrading their cvs just to fit into these roles.

Companies need to stop hiring abroad and hire locally. I sell to tech companies I am tired of the Indian accents or any other accents. It’s difficult for me to understand basic things that they say I can’t imagine the difficulty of being an engineer and communicating with them on complex projects. This has probably caused more bottlenecks and issues then anything else
