We are Americans that are black not Africans. We are not AA . I never seen an African in old pictures only whites and native Americans. Yes we have African dna but we are mixed with other ethnicities. Makes us Black American “Afro American “ not African. Like Afro Latinos

That’s so weird. Most northern Black Americans have grandparents from down south and feel somewhat of a connection to the south. I surely do. Hung out in the backwoods of Florida every summer, hanging with my dad’s family.
