Mate, I sold my flat and have it in a cash isa. I am awaiting to pay down my new property end of fix in October. I had it all sat during the dip and didn’t buy. Now obviously I wouldn’t have put the house on it but I did get gut feeling to put some in. I am kicking myself indecisiveness led to in action. I can’t stop thinking about it. I know it’s easy hen-sight it went up but I done it during pandemic. I get paralysed and don’t listen to myself or my instinct. Most likely will never be in this position again when it all aligns. But trying to learn from it but torturing myself

Can you talk about the self assessment process and what the most tax efficient investments are after ISA/pension/premium bonds? This always intimidates me and I want more options 😅

How much do you need to earn for a qualifying NIC year? I’m thinking of ramping my pension up leaving me with £12,570 as income on my P60 (will subsidise living with other savings)

I've got a 16yr window left. Want to invest now for that time - what happens tax wise after the 16 yrs when i'm at 67 & retiring? I will have a company pension & the state pension also.

Do you think you should look at trying to put as much into help to buy isa and maxing that out or putting more into stocks on t212?
