@clown.saint: The concept art is sketchy and barebones in places, and this is because I already knew what I wanted - since Im handling the art to model pipeline, I just needed to put a rough idea on paper before I start with the models. You’d never do this in a professional setting of course, because if your art is only legible to you, then that isn’t very helpful to the people that need to use it! Still, I hope this was interesting. I’ll be making this a series just because I have so much concept art to post! For your own indie projects, hopefully this was helpful in showing that you dont need to go crazy on fully finished refs id you’re the only one using them. But everyone has their own process!
