Maybe in the future, you could have the planner or venue sign at delivery to show you delivered the exact amount you were supposed to and that after that they are no longer your responsibility.

It’s the aftermath of spending all that money. It makes brides crazy the days after. Realizing all the extra stuff wasn’t worth it and they don’t like it as much as thought they did and they have buyers remorse for many expenses

my friend delivered a cake with dipped berries and someone came and took half thd berries off th cake. it definitely happens. the camera showed the staff doing it. have her check the cameras

You were right not to refund her. But moving forward, I think you should have someone sign a document when you drop it off stating that they received everything that they purchased. Whether it’s the bride, the wedding planner or someone else.

I work wedding catering and we take pictures of everything too. Post wedding, those bills start rolling in suddenly everything that was great perfect thank you so much day of, is now wasn’t great, didn’t like, wasn’t correct etc etc. no ma’am I’ve got receipts lol
