Just so you know legally you are not required to fill any forms or have a face to face meeting with the Local Education Authority. Sometimes they can overstep their remit which is why the advice generally from the home education community is not to accept visits - a yearly report via email is sufficient. A home eductor of 12 years here. Good luck with your home ed journey. 😊

We took our daughter out of school 18 months ago she has excelled she is doing two of her exams 1 year early schools are toxic in most cases.

Love this! Always do what is best for the kid! My daughter didn’t attend for a year! I fought the school, social services because I knew what she needed ❤️good for you 🥰

I wish I had done this for my youngest daughter , there is a lot more support for home schooling now , check your local adverts for some small home schooling groups - our fire station do education days as an example

It is so easy just take them off the school roll fill out the forms they send you and you will probably see someone from the education system once in about a year lol that’s it easy peasy
