That’s not his kid and his wife made that choice. Also they have kids that need them, either they both die or one can try to live for their kids 🤷🏽♀️

And who's fault was it that she was in that position to begin with? She ran upstairs while infected broke in meanwhile he was keeping them back alone as everyone else ran. She pulled away when he tried dragging her to safety after he lost the tire iron and ran to the other side of the room with infected breaking in. Then after getting into the bathroom, she stood there banging on the window screaming instead of opening it and trying to escape. The kid he left behind wasn't even theirs, it was a kid whose screaming attracted a horde of infected to them and she let the kid into the safe house, despite being told not to. She caused their safe house to fall by opening the door in the first place.
