It’s far too generous given what taxpayers are being put through - and yet strikes are still being called for. Remember how not stopping winter fuel would collapse £.

All the useless admin managers get paid far too much. The HCA’s are the hardest workers the NHS has.

Private sector who pays the wage for the NHS aren’t getting pay rises, so neither should NHS workers.

Specialist nurse here, honestly just happy for anything at present drowning. Although the longer I’ve been doing my job I don’t think the pay reflects the responsibility and accountability but I think none of us do it for money just would be grateful for recognition

I’m happy with it, I just wish it was agreed and implemented on time, it’s always months late and then we won’t see a penny until October. It’s the delays that drive me nuts.

I worked in the NHS for 39 years, and I know what hard work looks like. But I also saw how things changed — it became toxic, full of in-fighting, poor management, and people playing the system. Yes, pay is a concern, but so is professionalism, accountability, and the quality of care. It’s not just about money — the whole culture needs fixing. There’s a difference between fighting for fair pay and turning the workplace into a political battleground. When everyone’s arguing about who works hardest and some abuse the system, it stops being about patients and becomes about ego and entitlement. That’s part of why I stepped away.

try the private sector, more than half have pension contributions totalling 8%, 5% paid by the worker, 3% paid by the company, YOU pay 10% and cry about it, you get 30% on top though, the maths are certainly MATHING.. cry me a river, read the room and be grateful for 3.6% when the private sector aint getting anywhere near it 😡

I think it's disgusting. Politicians get 10% in line with inflation but people that look after people's lives are only given 3.6%
