@theplanttechie: Have you seen root rot before? 🫣 It’s not pretty! I made a big mistake with this limequat tree 🍈 by planting it in a pot 🪴 that looked fine… but had drainage holes a few inches up the side instead of on the bottom. At first, I didn’t think anything of it. But after every rain 🌧️, water would just sit in the bottom of the container — turning it into a soggy mess 💦🫤 Fast forward a year ⏳ and this poor tree was barely holding on 🪫 while its twin in a better pot was thriving 🌱✨. Once I pulled it out, the soggy soil 🫧 and rotted roots 🧟‍♂️ told the full story.
