Seniors, especially boomers, lived through the most economically favorable time in Americas history, literally. They had unions, pensions, social safety nets, buying power beyond anything younger people will ever see, and low cost of living. They have no excuses. They’re the ME generation for a reason. Still want all the focus, money, and entitlements to go to them and no one else. Gotta cut our losses. Their time has passed

old people now own multiple homes/concentrate a main avenue for wealth away from younger americans. they also statistically spend less time and effort on family child care than in past generations.

You seem to think our struggles are purely bifurcated by age. Older adults not being able to retired affects younger adults who can’t enter the workforce. Older adults who can’t afford care affects their children who also can’t afford to care for them.

We did our share to take care of our old worked hard and paid into social security and your generation doesn’t want to work they go through jobs ridiculously they don’t have the work ethics wants every easy! Too many people feel entitled to retirement. You’re not owed retirement from younger generations. Retirement is earned not given. If you can’t retire then that’s on you for not putting enough away for a rainy day.
