@officialwmp: #BlackInclusionWeek | A group of pupils from a local school in #Birmingham were given a behind the scenes tour of WMP last week as part of Black Inclusion Week. The 11 and 12 year olds were taken on a tour of Tally Ho! and C3 and watched demonstrations by a number of teams including drones, dogs and public order. They also got the opportunity to spend some time with Chief Constable Craig Guildford and members of the Force Executive team to give their feedback on the day and ask any questions they had. School Intervention and Prevention Officer and BAPA Committee Member PC Steve Mason, who organised the visit, said: “We were really pleased to invite these youngsters in so they could spend some time with officers and get to know them in a positive and relaxed environment. "They really got involved with all the activities and asked some great questions. This type of engagement is so important, particularly for younger children so they see the police as open, accessible and available to them.
