@boy.mum78: 5 things I wish I knew at the start of our autism journey. Unfortunately autism diagnosis doesn’t come with a manual and you have to learn a lot yourself. #autismacceptance #autismoftiktok #autismmum #autismmomlife #autismhelp #autismsupport #sensoryissues #sensorytoy #aac #accdevice #gestaltlanguageprocessing

Keep being a super mum. I worked with autistic children & what an amazing job it was, I felt like they were my children while in my care. I’m so pleased he is in a school suitable for son, so many parents put them in mainstream & it’s so hard for the child 😘

Thank you so much for this, my wee boy has been diagnosed with global development impairment and is also non verbal and as he gets older they’ll refer him to the autism clinic to get assessed. This wee video really helped me, thank you ❤️

Just to add, with applying for DLA there are lots of accounts on TikTok that teach you the correct language to use to get the best claim awarded to your child

It doesn’t really matter when you apply for school it goes on needs so unfortunately there was more higher needs children at that time needing a place. Its the never ending struggle of no resources
