Let it rest and it’ll come up to 165F. Maple Pepper Candied Bacon 5-6 slices of bacon 1/3 cup brown sugar 1/3 cup maple syrup 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper Pinch of black pepper Preheat oven to 400F. Lay down bacon flat on a wire rack. Mix together brown sugar, maple syrup & cayenne until well combined. Brush on bacon. Sprinkle with black pepper. Bake for 20 min.
