You can't have Christ consciousness without CHRIST though. and to be One with His consciousness you have to believe His words and that He is EXACTLY who He says He is. He says He is the only Way to the kingdom(I think He knows the directions to His own house) so if you don't believe that fundamental truth then ther is no Christs consciousness within you. Take Christ out of the equation and you have an ANTI Christ, white washed tomb. The goal is relationship with the One we were made FOR and BY. The source of ALL comfort and good, apart from Him there is nothing but suffering because all good and comfort stays with Him. We are meant to "seek His FACE, not His hand" if you desire His power without beholding and worshipping His face then you do not deserve the power from His right hand. Those people that use His power yet deny Him in their hearts will not be welcomed into the kingdom, for He will say "depart from me, I never knew you." people will cast out demons and do miracles in His name yet He will turn His face from them as strangers because their hearts were far from Him. I believe the Septuagint and apocrypha are beneficial but they all need to be taken as a whole including the Holy Bible. Cherry picking is like having itching ears that seek someone who preaches what they wish to hear.

He was a teacher... he was never a blood atonement. The wise men who predicted his birth were from the east. They absolutely were not Jewish. Gnostics were a threat to Jewish converts grabbing at power.

The reason the gnostic gospels were rejected for the biblical canon is because they were written after the deaths of the eyewitnesses. The 4 we use can be attributed to an apostle or someone who interviewed an apostle. So, a gnostic would write out a book, get many historical details wrong and insert their philosophy into it, then finally stamp on a name of a close eyewitness. For example, a gnostic gospel fails historical accuracy when it uses names that are more popular in Egypt compared to the 4 gospels that get the regional names right. Gnosticism isn't a form of hidden knowledge, it's just philosophical ideas that tried to attach itself to the growing Christian religion.
