Blastocyst update! At this point we’ve accepted that we can’t get a lot of embryos per retrieval. As my Dr says my eggs are “capable yet fragile”. This round, we got one day 5 embryo (4AB) and the other one didnt make it until day 7 (5BB). If these two pass PGT we will have 4 embryos frozen. We will be doing a 4th egg retrieval before trying another transfer. We decided this because our end goal is at least 6 embryos for the 3 babies we want so to do it while I’m younger is best because my issue will only get worse with age most likely. Also, the day 7 embryo we got from this round has a lower sucess rate. Oh and I just tested positive for Covid lol so my Dr wants to wait a bit after having Covid to transfer anyway so that helped make the hard decision of what to do next. As annoying as Covid is.. its like a sign that we need another retrieval 🩵🩷
