When I told my gramma about my uncle (by marriage) SA’ing me she said “yk they working on their marriage rn & they’re finally in a good spot so why would you say this?” She continuously tried to convince me it didn’t happen & begged me to “take it back” I’m 29 & they still don’t believe me 😞

My “mom” did the same thing. Her sons from her previous relationship graped me when I was 7 and she covered it up so I ran away and she removed my whole existence from her whole life and now acts like she just has 2 daughter and 2 sons . I went to the police but they did nothing for “not enough evidence “

The prosecutor in my county said that OVER 80% of families who are made aware DO NOT pursue criminal charges especially if its immediate family like dads/husbands/boyfriends…. Its so sick
