Never understood why someone cares what someone else wears for gear. If you decide to wear a full dh gear on a green fire road that’s your decision. Wear what makes you feel comfortable.

This is what I say to my son, his mates don’t want to wear helmets but he’s grown up watching me wear full motorcycle gear and mtb gear so he loves his poc helmet and gear.

So TRUE!!! It is my choice to not wear full gear in my local trails but park, races, any trail I'm not fully confident in, you bet I'm going wear the full face, the pads, I'll even tape the stuffed turtle to my butt.

I used to do BMX, no safety equipment, but I was young and dumb. I broke all the bones in my foot and realized I don’t like getting hurt and eventually gave it up 😂
