The name Azrael for the Angel of Death is NOT mentioned in the Qur’an or any authentic hadith. It’s a later addition from folklore and isn’t proven by the Prophet ﷺ’s teachings. In Islam, we simply call him Malak al-Mawt the Angel of Death. Always stick to what’s authentically from the Qur’an and Sunnah

This is beautiful. I just want to kindly mention that the angel of death has no name mentioned in any sahih hadith or in the Qur'an. Also, there are more books. An ayah in the Qur'an says "suhufi ibrahima wa musa" equating the pages of prophet ibrahim to those of prophet musa. But regardless, very beautiful post mashallah 🤲🏾
