Not really. Oil cleanser is great for my combo-oily skin because rubbing cotton rounds makes my face red and irritated (I rubbed gently and it was still red even with expensive, super soft cotton rounds). You just need to use the correct oil cleanser w no (or minimum) pore clogging ingredients, and emulsify it well.

Oil cleansers ruined my skin for months. And my skin became so fine as soon as I stopped using it. Now I ONLY use face wash, toner and moisturizer and my skin is Flawless now.
