Amorim is a restorer of fallen clubs, his first year at sporting 26 players played 5+ games and the following year when he won the league out of those 26 only 6 played 5+ games, trust him and he’s gonna chance the situation around.

The players have not remained. Most of them are gone or on the bench. New keeper. Apart from Shaw, Maguire, Bruno, and Lindelof, you can’t say the players didn’t change. Amad and Dalot weren’t used until ETH. The problem is more that the team doesn’t have balance. Not enough pace and attacking strength one way, and not enough sturdiness and solid options the other way.
