They patched the override on some rooms 😢 the last time I went to Old Key West, it showed LEN, but would not go any lower than 68 after

It's not just about the temperature in the South. It's about the humidity.

I did that hack at Caribbean Beach, blew the ac unit. They had come and swap the entire ac unit (the blower) out with another.

Then they are calling the front desk because their air isn't working correctly at 3am because it's froze up or the compressor is slugged.

Bad news for you. The display says 65 but it’s still locked at 68 by master control. That’s why your room temp will never actually drop below 68 when doing this.

AKL room wouldn’t go lower than like 72. I get it’s better for the environment but I’m from the north and can’t tolerate the heat 😂

not sure if new Disney resorts will follow universal, but all epic resorts have automated AC that only works if you are in the room and moving. so if you are asleep it won't run also if you move around the lights will turn on. this is how all new resorts will be sadly

I did this in my friends room Friday (All Star Movies) and hers dropped to 58! We left it on 64 but if that was my room it would’ve been on 60🤣
