There is a difference between IQ and smarts. IQ is the ability to take complex problems and apply solutions that are sometimes unknown. Smarts is the basic regurgitation of known facts. Most people who are smart do not like being questioned on the known facts because they don’t think analytically but rather by memory of the known and can’t attest to the theories they’ve injested. They accept simple solutions to complex problems rather than seeking if the solution truly fits the whole underlying question.

Thank you! I swear people have been hiding behind the whole "financial education needs to be taught" as a way to dodge accountability. You don't need a bachelor's in finance to understand that credit card debt is bad or how interest works or that a $300 car payment is better than. $1000 car payment. People just don't care.

We have super computers that can look up anything and everything in our pockets. The information is out there, when one is making a decision no one is stopping them from researching the right path. Can’t blame high school when you’re an adult and have the ability to educate yourself easier than ever.
