The parents are at fault for the situation that is unfolding. They broke their oldest daughters heart. Quinceanera is a right of passage to womanhood. Then the mother has the audacity to dismiss her oldest daughters heartbroken feelings. You can't do for one and not the other. This is showing favouritism. My heart breaks for the poor girl.
