There’s actually some history with “ice box.” Back in the day, poor and povered rural areas didn’t have access to alot of electricity. They literally had a box in the ground/home that housed ice blocks in order to keep food fresh. Refrigerators were used by richer society/cities due to more access to funds and electricity. Also explains why 337 would use “ice box” as opposed to Baton Rouge/New Orleans area.
