Replying to @woom bikes “Look, I made the sun come out,” Emi said as we biked high on the mountainside, making our way up Going-To-The-Sun Road in Glacier National Park. We were a team- tethered together, bikes in motion, in sync on wheels and in our hearts. We sang the song four full times before Mister Sun popped out from the clouds and shined down on us. She’s right, she does make the sun come out ☀️ Reflecting on this moment I kept thinking, it’s just a bike, but it’s so much more. Biking is a catalyst for our family to connect, flow in nature together in song or thought, and discover what we’re capable of. I look back on the decision to get our first @woom bikes balance bike when my son was 18 months old, and I’m so grateful we went for it. He is 9 now and my daughter is 6, and biking has shaped my motherhood. It is our rhythm, our adventure, our joy. The woom 20” Explore bike Emi is on helped make this day possible. When woom reached out and asked us to be test the new Explore Series, I wasn’t sure we needed it. We spend a lot of time mountain biking and have the woom Off series. But her 20” Explore bike has ended up shaping her biking summer. It’s built for days like this: super light, all-terrain, 7 gears, and disc brakes for that huge downhill. At just 18 lbs, compared to the 25 lb 20” bikes I see out there, it saved me while towing her up a mountain. Thank you woom for designing bikes that grow with our kids, open up the world, and help keep them safe along the way. You also make the ☀️ come out. #bikingwithkids #bikefamily #woombikespartner #goingtothesunroad #glaciernationalpark
