Seperti biasa, kedua hari raya ini sering dimanfaatkan sebagai momen untuk berkumpul bersama keluarga besar. Namun demikian, terdapat perbedaan yang cukup signifikan antara keduanya. Salah satu perbedaannya adalah bahwa pada Idul Adha terkumpul berbagai bentuk ibadah yang tidak ditemukan pada Idul Fitri, seperti ibadah haji dan ibadah kurban, yang masing-masing memiliki keutamaan luar biasa. Dari Abu Hurairah Radhiyallahu 'anhu berkata bahwa Rasulullah ﷺ bersabda: العُمْرَةُ إلى العُمْرَةِ كَفَّارَةٌ لِما بيْنَهُمَا، والحَجُّ المَبْرُورُ ليسَ له جَزَاءٌ إلَّا الجَنَّةُ “Umrah satu ke umrah lainnya adalah penebus dosa antara keduanya, dan haji yang mabrur tidak ada pahala baginya selain surga.” (HR Bukhari: 1773). Allah ﷻ berfirman: وَلِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ جَعَلْنَا مَنسَكًا لِّيَذْكُرُوا۟ ٱسْمَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَىٰ مَا رَزَقَهُم مِّنۢ بَهِيمَةِ ٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ ۗ فَإِلَٰهُكُمْ إِلَٰهٌ وَٰحِدٌ فَلَهُۥٓ أَسْلِمُوا۟ ۗ وَبَشِّرِ ٱلْمُخْبِتِينَ “Bagi setiap umat telah Kami syariatkan penyembelihan (kurban) agar mereka menyebut nama Allah atas binatang ternak yang dianugerahkan-Nya kepada mereka. Tuhanmu ialah Tuhan Yang Maha Esa. Maka, berserah dirilah kepada-Nya. Sampaikanlah (Nabi Muhammad) kabar gembira kepada orang-orang yang rendah hati lagi taat (kepada Allah).” (QS Al-Hajj [22]: 34). Semoga Allah ﷻ menerima amal kita dan menjadikan kita termasuk hamba-Nya yang meraih derajat tertinggi di surga. Āmīn.
