yes they save space but they add weight to the suitcase and i had to undo them take everything out and just cram it into my case saving several pounds of weight. gutted.

I tried. Packing in these and packing loose the same amount of clothes. Without them was better as clothes were not wrinkled. If you put too much in these bags you cannot place them flat.
