So I used to be a cop. And in police academy our instructor literally told us if we drink and drive to keep a few beers with us. If you get out and start drinking they can not prove you were drinking and driving. Just saying

Idk if this works in the states but in Canada we have laws preventing doing this. You technically have to wait an hour after driving to consume liquor. Obviously they only use that rule in situations like this and not anywhere else
