@turn_the_page_lady: Review: Duplicity by Elodie Hart ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I love the style of Elodie Hart books and how they hook you in with their complicated characters and the situations they end up in. This book is a must read - even if you haven’t read any before ( though you are missing out). I liked Marlowe when she flitted into the first book and she’s a great FMC. Strong single mother who is prepared to do anything to help her sick daughter. Supported by Athena ( who has grown on me) she joins Seraph to raise thousands to fund life saving surgery. Brendan is a billionaire playboy who flits between gorgeous women, however as the brother of Athena’s’ other half she asks him to hire Marlowe. The electricity between them from the start is electric and the spice - well it’s spicy! But the job is a means to an end- or is it more? Lots of twists with this, some bad behaviour from the MMC and the grovelling when the wake up call happens its first class. I could not put this down - what an enjoyable read and I loved the characters and a great story. I look forward to book 3 Can be read stand alone but would be better to read Audacity first ! #duplicity #elodiehart
