Except you have to move to a rural area where it’s harder to make a living. Costs more to go to that job that’s 30-1hr away, plus more wear and tear on the vehicle and more time lost in traveling to and from.

My mortgage is through the USDA, BEST loan ever. I got $110K with zero interest, nothing down, and rolled all my expenses to purchase the home in my mortgage minus inspection and lead test. It was 21 years ago but still the best loan when compared to other mortgages to this day

pmi is a extra insurance where if u can't pay for it they get the property back for free and get to collect insurance on you not being able to pay (double dipping)
