gojo is a bottom to me. I sometimes can see him as a switch but if I read or look at fanart it's with that dynamic. so I look for gego art and fanfic and not goge. it's also why it's so important to tag the t/b dynamic (especially if you interact with Japanese fans who take it more seriously)

I don’t mind someone headcanoning the canonical top as a bottom bc, whatever yams your yum bud! But the people I do mind? You know those ppl that try too hard to “be different”? this can also be related to discourse in fandom spaces around using correct terminology/ship names - w/ them being in a certain order because it pertained to the top/bottom dynamics. Like Sasunaru is NOT the same as Narusasu

why can't we be more like Japan? their shipping and fandom culture in general is so much better. they have different categories for ships! like A/B, A is top be is bottom. then they have B/A, where b is top and a is bottom. (idk what their symbol is for switching) but it's just so organized over there and easier for people to find what they want. 😭
