I rescued a cat, force fed her when she wouldn't eat, drove through a hurricane and then through the aftermath of a hurricane for over 1.5hr each way to get her to the vet, gave her medicine, rubbed ointment on her eyeballs... aaaand she hates me 😅 looooves my husband who did not save her though, sleeps in his arms every night. but it's ok I still love her even if she recoils when i reach out to pet her 🥹🥹🥹

when I turned 10, I adopted this homeless little orange tabby boy as a gift. He was severely covered with ring worm, his lungs were so weak, and vets kept telling my Dad he wasnt going to make it in the next few weeks we had him.... after nights sleeping by his quarantine box, bottle fed him his soups and medicine— he lives at a happy 15 years going 16 soon, healthier than any kitty at his age I've seen and with the happiest smile that shows his appreciation for the love we gave into his life ♡ my little boy ♡♡
