This would explain why many Narcissists use MONEY 💵 to influence into old age! A huge tell is one who never talks about problems, avoids apologies, but sends gifts or gives money as if it is an apology… and almost always, they go right back to the same behaviors and repeat the toxic cycle of money or gifts as a pacifier for you!

My ex would try and Sabotage my attempts to get healthier especially with negging and highlighting parts of me I hated they she “loved” this got more common as she got older for context she’s 55 and I’m 40 and we got together when she was 49 and myself 35
