It's great that solo hiking works for you. But for me, I enjoy hiking with my partner and the dogs. We laugh, we talk, we're silly, we moan, we take photos, we create memories. That's what's beautiful about hiking, there's no right or wrong way to do it.

I hike with my 16 year old son who doesn't want to speak to me so it's just like hiking alone 😂😂 Also depends who you hike with, my favourite hike we joined up with another group half way up Scafell Pike. As long as you enjoy it then do you.
