I don't care what anyone says... dinosaurs like Java, C, C++ are the most reliable, tested, performant and development friendly (due to massive support and ecosystem) languages out there... you just need to be smart about the security but the stability and reliability they provide are simply unmatched.

I think the best thing is to just write the entire backend in assembly. Since there’s different types of assembly that might be a problem so I think we do machine code. That might also be controversial so I reckon we do transistors directly on a board, we might as well skip that technicality and start doing things theoretically by just apply physics. That is pretty controversial so let’s go back to where it started… philosophy… therefore from now on I’m writing my backend philosophically.

Java is still huge because so many people refuse to learn new skills. 30% to 40% of Java users are still on ancient Java 8. Javas fine if you're already on it, but no reason to make new things with it
