@towardsjesuslogic: Why Bart Ehrman PREFERS Becoming Christian Over Muslim The Allah of the Quran is a cold, distant god who clearly does NOT love sinners or unbelievers, repeatedly declaring he "loves not" the sinful, the ungrateful, and the disbelievers. This conditional and transactional love leaves Muslims terrified, always unsure if they’ve done enough to earn his mercy. Bart Ehrman—a skeptic himself—admits the beauty of the God revealed at Christmas: a God who loves so fiercely that He became human to redeem us, heal our wounds, and save the lost. The Bible shows God's love as shockingly unconditional: "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8) - God loved you even when you rejected Him. "This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins" (1 John 4:10) - His love comes FIRST, not after you earn it. "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28) - God invites sinners into rest, peace, and relationship, unlike Allah’s fearful demands. Islam’s portrayal of Allah is morally empty—loveless, merciless, and utterly inadequate compared to the Almighty God revealed in Jesus Christ. Reject the harshness and emptiness of Allah who refuses sinners, and come to Jesus Christ, the Savior and Redeemer, the Prince of Peace, the Way, the Truth, and the Life, whose arms are forever open in eternal love and forgiveness!
