High level sensory environment training is just as relevant as being able to do it in a controlled environment. She needs to scoot herself back to get a better viewing angle and be less likely to put the blade against the teeth when she lifts the jaw.

Honestly this is great training - you will almost never have an optimal environment for patient care. Bad lighting, awkward angles, cramped spaces are more common. (At least in my experience)

we did a mass casualty scenario at the end of our class, hiked 3 miles in to a "plane crash" in winter and pitch black. if you can do it in horrible conditions you can do it anywhere!
