This really spoke to me. I’ve spent so much of my life shrinking myself just to make others feel more comfortable. Especially as someone who’s always been told I’m pretty. It’s wild how people assume that means life’s easier, when in reality it’s felt like I’ve had to prove myself twice as much in every space & when people can’t control you or “have” you, they try to box you in, mock you, or leave you out. I’ve been playfully bullied, excluded, and made to feel like I had to dim my light to be accepted. I’m so over that version of me. Learning to detach, protect my energy, and actually embrace my full power without guilt is exactly where I’m at right now. Thank you for this 🖤
