The dual connections are meant to be wired together to wire it in parallel, it’ll reduce resistance and help current flow, definitely rewire it in parallel

yo Hayden you wired your sub wrong you have to connect the black from one side to the red on the other side to wire it to 4 ohms not sure if that's right but that's how I wired my subs and if you don't they will blow the sub

that sub is a duel coil sub you need to run a wire from the red to the black on the other side of sub and do the same for the other side then use on side of the subs positive and negative and hook it to the box then hook up your amp to the box it will sound so much better

Careful with leds with your auto trans I’ve heard it’s the third brake light that causes the issue but not positive if that’s the only cause
