@thekindtide: NEVER BEFORE SEEN FOOTAGE. This was filmed for David Attenboroughs โOceanโ, showing the destructive nature of bottom trawling - an industrial, brutal fishing practice that leaves nothing left in its path. Weighted and enormous nets are literally dragged across the sea floor, obliterating marine ecosystems, killing untargeted species, and leaving a barren wasteland behind. Thereโs been little footage of the reality of trawlers - until now. This clip allows us to reflect on the relationship humans have with the sea. It is the most important part of our world. But we have taken it for granted. It begs us to rethink our own consumption, and can hopefully give visual evidence to advocate for more protected areas/regulated fishing methods. #bottomtrawling #thebottomline #fishing #trawling #conservation #explorepage #fyp #documentary #ocean #davidattenborough #savetheocean #marineconservation #oceanconservation #savetheplanet #Sustainability
I used to work at an aquarium, this is how a lot of your favorite seafood and fish is caught!! PLEASE do your research. An easy thing to eliminate from your diet to help protect the planet is shrimp! Shrimp is never sustainably caught.

Iโm a huge seafood fan but ugh this makes me sad I try to only eat it for special events or if someone gives it to me, itโs for the best most fish are packed with microplastics and I should stop eating it at all by 2030 from pollution in the ocean

These are Asian shrimping boats causing these issues, United States fishing complete is extremely technologically advanced to keep every other species except cod haddock or whiting out of the net

EVIL EVIL EVIL ๐. Unbearably sad for the ocean and for all those fish that just get discarded. Stop this, make this illegal. The price is not worth it
