A woman’s job is never done, especially when she becomes a mother. Nine weeks into motherhood, and I’m still trying to find my time to shower and do self maintenance, and honestly it’s still a dark dark tunnel. Luckily, I had an ingenious idea while pumping in the middle of the night to just go ahead and shower, so in the middle of my pump session, I stopped showered and then started pumping again. Now as females, we always multitask, but as a new mother, you have to figure it out way more on how to lump tasks together, so I figured I can put my pumps back in after I showered and be pumping while I’m putting my lotion on so I won’t be wasting any time. All in all this was probably the most relaxing shower since having my daughter because I was not rushing during a nap session or feel like I was bothering someone to watch her while I took time for myself. Now, if only I can figure out how to do my hair and other self maintenance tasks efficiently, then I can start to feel like myself again. Moms, tell me how do yal make time for yourselves or schedule self maintenance while being a new mom working with 2 to 3 hour windows of time? ##momcozypump##postpartum##MomsofTikTok##exclusivelypumping##momlife
