its a species of slender salamander. I dont know what region you live in so I can't pin that what species. but they eat spiders, termites, and various little bugs. hes a friend. tho I would test for termites and leaks.

For anyone curious: Lygosoma are a type of reptile, more specifically a skink . Lygosoma translates to “writhing skink” in reference to the goofy ahh way they move. The genus lygosoma is also apparently a “wastebin taxon” which means that most newly discovered skink species get thrown into the lygosoma genus until someone actually decides to figure out where it belongs.
