The buyer initially gave the seller d100 and received d10 in change. Now, the buyer wants to purchase another thing worth d20. Since the d10 change belongs to the buyer but was given by the seller, the buyer needs to add d10 more to buy the second item worth d20. The buyer should provide an additional $10 to complete the d20 purchase, as the d10 change can't be used as payment without being considered as still part of the seller's money. The accurate note is the buyer has d10 and needs d10 more for the purchase.
